By dancing during the summer, children maintain and improve their skills, enabling them to start the school year with confidence and continue progressing without having to review what they learned during the previous school year. Our experience has been that most of the children progress at a relatively faster rate during the summer vs. during the school year. This is likely due to the relaxed atmosphere during the summer and the number of classes the children can take in a relatively short timeframe.
