“The Summer Tech program at DANJ was a really great way for me to stay consistent with my training during the summers while I was in high school. What's wonderful about DANJ's Summer program is it offers a wide variety of styles taught by influential artists from New York as well as around the country. DANJ is always a safe space to train with friends and offers a safe yet challenging environment that keeps you focused on your dancing during the summer months.” — Conner Bormann (Juilliard ’16)
“Summer Tech was an opportunity for me to expand my technical foundation and style, experience a rigorous, challenging and exciting program, make new friends and connect with amazing faculty. I look forward to returning next summer!” — Chris Kinsey (Boston Conservatory ’18)
“Summer Tech made my transition from DANJ to Ailey a seamless experience. In addition to working with the professional DANJ faculty I was so lucky to have over the last seven years, I also had the opportunity to take classes with many guest choreographers and teachers of similar stature in the industry. I couldn't possibly have felt more prepared for my future endeavors. As a graduate, I also had the opportunity to meet many of my peers from the NY Metro area that I have since come into contact with at auditions and other dance events!” — Nicole Pietraszkiewicz
