Faculty
Jaclyn Walsh was a principal dancer of Keigwin + Company from 2011 thru 2017, was named by Dance Spirit magazine as one of the dance world's thirteen "Hottest Young Choreographers" and by Dance Magazine as one of the dance industry's "Top 25 to Watch." Her choreography has been presented at numerous dance festivals and conservatories/universities including: Perceptions Contemporary Dance Festival, American Dance Guild Festival, Boston Contemporary Dance Festival, NYU’s Past/Forward, NY City Parks Foundation SummerStage Main Stage, Joffrey Ballet School, and Montclair State University. She received Broadway Care’s coveted Choreography Award. Jaclyn choreographed and performed in Vienna Teng's music video "Level Up." In 2019, she received ADA's coveted Choreographer of the Year Award. She was named a finalist in the Capezio A.C.E. Awards for choreographic excellence in 2018 and in 2016. Jaclyn received her BFA from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, where she performed works by Susan Marshall and Ronald K. Brown, and received the Tisch Achievement Scholarship in Dance.
Cassy Surianello is originally from Buffalo, NY where she began dancing at the age of 2. She left Buffalo to attend Point Park University receiving her B.F.A in dance. Professional performance credits include; First National Tour of “Fiddler on the Roof”, Principal Dancer for SweetBird Productions International Tour of Rasta Thomas’ “Rock the Ballet” (Bad Boys of Dance), Dance Lab New York (Josh Prince), Dance Break (Stacey Tookey), “In This Life” (Film), The Orsano Project, Madison Square Garden and MTV Live. Chloe LaFleur, originally from San Diego, graduated from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles with a BA in Dance; and went on to further her training at Broadway Dance Center’s Professional Semester in New York City. Her choreography credits include Cabaret (Scranton Shakespeare Festival), the Off Broadway premiere of Medicine the Musical (Assoc. Choreographer to Josh Assor), Santa Claus a New Musical, Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson (Casa Manana), and the Good Morning America segment for Bachelor Live (Associate Chor. to Brooke Wendle). Chloe's performance credits include “Helga” in Cabaret (Scranton Shakespeare Festival), Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (Scranton Shakespeare Festival), Monster Stomp (Busch Gardens Williamsburg), and industrials for NOWTHIS, Nintendo Switch and RWS. She has worked extensively with Al Blackstone, Marc Kimelman, Chris Jarosz, and Billy Griffin. Chloe loves to share her passion for dance through powerful classes filled with story-telling and musicality.
Jenna Kulacz, a multi-disciplinary artist originally from Westchester, New York, graduated summa cum laude from Elon University with a BFA in Dance Performance & Choreography. As a professional dancer, Jenna has performed with notable companies such as Pilobolus, EMERGE125, Gaspard & Dancers, and Christal Brown’s INSPIRIT as a soloist in Arts Across America: A Live Virtual Performance at the John F. Kennedy Center. She has worked with a variety of New York project-based companies in performances including the Harlem Dance Festival and with AThomasProject at Bryant Park Summer Performing Arts Series. While pursuing her undergraduate degree, Jenna has danced works by notable choreographers and companies including Yoshito Sakuraba, Gallim Dance, and NW Dance Project. Most recently, she performed at the Delacorte Theater in the Public Theater's production of 'The Tempest' for "Shakespeare in the Park". She thoroughly enjoys teaching and choreographing and is particularly skilled at nurturing younger dancers. She is currently a company member with EMERGE125, a dance educator and choreographer at Westchester Dance Academy, an assistant for New York City Dance Alliance, and a NASM-Certified Personal Trainer.
Jennifer Savelli has danced professionally for over 25 years. At the age of 17 she joined The Pennsylvania Ballet and was a member for four years. She was a Radio City Rockette under the direction of Maurice Hines in Las Vegas. Jennifer’s Broadway credits include Spider-Man Turn Off The Dark, Anything Goes, Guys and Dolls, The Boy From Oz, Dance Of The Vampires, and Fosse. Along with being a Dance Captain on Broadway, she served as Kathleen Marshall's Associate Director and Choreographer for the National Tours of the Tony Award-winning Anything Goes! Jennifer has been in the casts of five City Center Encores Productions and was featured opening The Wynn Hotel in Las Vegas with Hugh Jackman performing an Apache duet. Her movie and television credits include CHICAGO, Not Your Time, PBS' Broadway: The American Musical, and CBS' NYC 22. Jennifer has danced in several TV award shows including The Kennedy Center Honors, The Tonys, The Academy Awards, The MTV Movie Awards, and The VMA's with J.Lo and Ja Rule; and she has directed and choreographed shows for Princess, Radisson, Carnival, and Oceania Cruises.
Jennifer is on the permanent guest faculty at The Rock School in Philadelphia, PA. and has taught at Akron University and Pennsylvania University's Dance Arts Company. She has taught all forms of dance at studios and universities across the country sharing her vast knowledge and love for the performing arts. She likes to encourage the importance of being proficient in and respectful to as many forms of dance as possible -- to have the freedom and flexibility to make the choices desired for a long career in dance. Jennifer also loves being able to teach dance as a means of expression and enjoys sharing its positive impact and tools in preparation for her students' future endeavors.
Jordan Serrano, a Michigan native, moved to New York City at age 18 where she freelanced, as a member of Willow Oak Contemporary Ballet, and as a guest performer with Keigwin + Company. Jordan joined Nevada Ballet Theatre (NBT) in 2016 where she completed three seasons and danced featured roles in ballets including Paul Taylor’s “Company B”, and Jorden Morris’ “Peter Pan”, a soloist in the company’s “Studio Series”, and expanding her Balanchine repertoire, including “Western Symphony” and “Slaughter on 10th Ave”. She performed in collaborations with Cirque du Soleil, and performed Alexander Ekman’s ‘Swan Lake’, at ‘O’ Theatre, televised by CBS. Jordan is happy to still be with NBT as a “Resident Guest Artist”, and as on faculty at the Academy of Nevada Ballet Theatre as Director of the contemporary division.

DANJ families should register using the Portal. These classes are open to Level A&B dancers. Stretch & Conditioning is open to ages 12& over.
The registration fee for these classes is not refundable for any cancellations within seven days of the class. Any cancellations will be transferable to a later class (i.e., a makeup class) if there is an open slot.
