Rachel Hurst began her dance training at The King Centre at the age of three, where she trained through age eighteen. She went on to join the Ramapo College Dance Team, continuing to develop her performance skills and athleticism at the collegiate level. Rachel began teaching Acro at sixteen years old and is now in her 14th year teaching. She has taught at various competitive dance studios as well as privately in students’ homes, helping dancers safely progress through advanced skills with a strong technical foundation. Rachel is a certified personal trainer and fitness instructor, bringing a deep understanding of strength development, body mechanics, and injury prevention into her training. She continues to train and work on advanced tricks, believing that growth never stops and that teachers should lead by example. Her teaching style emphasizes clean technique, strength, control, and confident execution. Rachel graduated from Ramapo College with a BA in Psychology.
